
To start off the holiday right, a Christmas Day brunch courtesy moi. Eggs Benedict gets the Garden Betty treatment: poached egg whites on sourdough English muffins, topped with Canadian bacon, heirloom tomatoes, wilted spinach, pioppini mushrooms, and my über decadent Hollandaise sauce. Not decadent enough though, as the unofficial mother-in-law restricted me to just one stick of butter — oy, what would Julia Child say?!
