Win an advance copy of The CSA Cookbook! (Three winners in all!)

My first book, The CSA Cookbook, is slated to release on February 16. (I shared a sneak peek of it recently!)

Can you believe it’s been one year in the making? Nope, neither can I, even though I feel like I’ve been saying It’s coming! It’s coming! for soooo long now. It’s exciting stuff, and I’ve been bowled over by all the kind comments and emails of encouragement from readers near and far.

Now, it’s really coming. And as a show of thanks for your immense support and incredible patience, I have three copies of my book to give away to three lucky winners this week!

The CSA Cookbook

These are advance copies from the publisher, and they’re special because there aren’t that many advance copies floating around. I have one, my editor has one, the marketing team has one… the rest are boxed up on a boat as I type this, making their way across the Pacific to the publisher’s warehouse.

That leaves just three copies remaining, and I want them to go to you. My hope is that you’ll enjoy the book, make a few recipes from it, and leave an honest review on Amazon (or your preferred book review site) when it releases.

Since the books will ship directly from the publisher, I won’t be able to personally sign them but I’ll include a signed bookplate, which you can adhere to the inside of your copy. And who knows, maybe I’ll see you at one of my book events this year for an in-person signing?!

If you’ve already preordered a book, you’re still welcome to enter. You can send a book to a loved one as a surprise!

This giveaway is open to all readers in all countries. Thanks for making my world go ’round.

How to enter: I had a blast writing this book and would love to do another! What do you think my next book should be about? Give me your suggestion below to be entered for this giveaway. To receive an additional entry, follow @gardenbetty on Instagram, and leave a second comment below indicating your Instagram username. You have two chances to win!

The giveaway will end at 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time on Friday, January 30, 2015. Three winners will be drawn at random and announced the following week. Good luck!

  1. I think you should write about preserving/canning and how to COOK or USE the stuff. Like what am I going to do with jars of preserved lemons? Or that weird plum chutney?

  2. I think your book should combine your travels and your love for food. A camping cook book of course. Every picture in the book should have a picture of food and a surf spot in the back ground. Also add scratch and sniff to the food items.

  3. how about a year-round gardening guide?! i know you are SO fortunate because of your climate, but i know a lot of people in colder areas overlook the potential of indoor + growing greens under cold frames in the winter!

  4. I would love to get a cookbook maybe it will save my husband and daughter from my lack of cooking skills lol

  5. Absolutely love your blog and find It inspiring as a budding gardener in Sydney Australia (originally from California). What about a seasonal cookbook with your special talent on bringing out the most interesting facts and ways to use/store the whole plant the whole year round? It’s so hard these days to know what’s really in season. I also like the idea of a food travel log/history /recipe book. Think Time Life Foods of the World cookbooks of the late 50s, 60s, early 70s. They did a series of America from different regions, but also on countries around the world and so very interesting that I read them from cover to cover. You could do your own modern take on it. Also anything on foraging is great to learn about edible/native/weeds plants not commonly found in shops, but easily found in the common backyard or other places that can be adopted into our cooking. We’ve just forgotten them or not learned about them with commercial crops taking over. Thanks again for inspiring me!

  6. Pick me! I feel like that kid in grade school who falls out of her seat because she is raising her hand so far.

  7. I’d love to see a book on foraging and cooking while on your traveling adventures. A lifestyle book that encompasses adventures and local food.
