Snow Pea Harvest

My Golden Sweet snow peas have matured and this morning I snipped a handful to throw into a garden salad (along with my recently harvested radish leaves, white carrots and carrot greens, wasabina, Japanese cucumber, and purple bush beans — I seriously have never had more disco salads until I started growing my own this year!).

The flavor of these snow peas puts store-bought peas to shame — soooo fresh, so sweet, so crisp. They are good enough to eat raw just by themselves!
