Watch It: The CSA Cookbook Trailer

Official video trailer for The CSA Cookbook by Linda Ly

Yes, it’s a thing… commercials for cookbooks, and I’m so happy to share the official trailer for The CSA Cookbook with you!

This last year has been one of the most exciting, challenging, and rewarding experiences of my life, and it’s so fun to look back on the process. All those hours spent in the kitchen, on the computer, in the dirt, harvesting, cooking, and testing hundreds of pounds of food. (Not to mention eating… I don’t even want to think how many meals made it into my belly in the name of recipe testing!)

I’m so thankful the opportunity for the book came when it did. It appeared at a time in my life when I felt like I finally zeroed in on what I’m truly passionate about: growing, cooking, and learning about food, and getting to share my discoveries with you.

The CSA Cookbook was inspired by this blog and that means all of you had a part in the project, for which I’m ever grateful. Cheers, friends! You keep me curious and energized every single day.

And mad props to my multitalented husband, Will Taylor, who had never filmed (much less edited) a video until a few weeks ago. (You know, when I approached him with this “little idea.”) If the name sounds familiar, that’s because it appears on the cover alongside mine. Will was also the photographer for my book! I am a lucky, lucky girl.

Your video is great – interesting, upbeat, and filled with beautiful images. Kudos to you and Will. It has been a pleasure to read your blog and try your recipes. I really appreciate your “organic” approach to gardening and have enjoyed reading your recommendations. My garden will never be as magical as yours, but every year presents new possibilities. Congratulations and best wishes on your book launch!

Great job…One critic if I may, the back ground music is too loud, I am sure there is a way to fix that. Can’t wait for my book 🙂

Love it! Super cute pup at the end too 🙂 I’ll be heading out to Word, my lovely local bookshop here in Jersey City, to order a copy this week. I can’t wait to learn how to use the kale stems I’ve been dutifully cutting out for so long!

I just received your cookbook and it is beautiful! I ordered 2, one for me and one for a gift. I can’t wait to read it (I read cookbooks like other people read novels) and to try your fabulous recipes. I love the video. It is beautiful, professional and a brilliant idea. Thank you for doing what you do and sharing it with us.

Thanks so much Sonja! And yes, the hubby shot it single-handedly… he already has ideas for future videos now that he’s gotten the hang of it somewhat. 😉
